Sh*t My Students Write: Part 3

It’s time for another installment of Sh*t My Students Write!

Last week I had my students write acrostic poems (choose a word and write it vertically, then write a word or sentence horizontally for each letter). Despite the fact that most of my students can barely string a sentence together, they came up with some pretty bizarre and occasionally hilarious poems. Here’s just a sampling, although I’ve got hundreds more to sift through still, so I’m sure there are more gems to come. In the mean time, here’s a window into the twisted minds of my middle school Korean students!

    1. Haha they do! Sometimes they say the strangest things in class and I have to take a moment and just laugh hysterically while the kids look at me like I’m loony!

  1. Those are some very interesting poems. Thought provoking at times. Thanks for sharing them.
